About HikingPaw

Made for the trails you take together.

Our Story

We love hiking with our dogs. And over countless miles—through muddy trails, rocky ridges, and the occasional unexpected river crossing—we realized something: outdoor gear for dogs could be better. That’s why we built HikingPaw, a dog outdoor gear brand, with a simple focus.

Not because the gear out there is bad, but because it’s rarely designed with both the dog and the trail in mind. So we started HikingPaw with a simple focus: build gear that actually works where it matters—on the trail, with your dog by your side. No dramatic origin story. Just a lot of real-world miles and a commitment to getting the details right.

Why HikingPaw? Unlike traditional pet stores, we’re not a general pet brand. We’re a dog outdoor gear brand, period. Every product we make — from hiking boots to trail jackets — is designed to perform on real trails, with real dogs. If it doesn’t work on a muddy Pacific Northwest trail, it doesn’t leave our workshop.
